Understanding Energetic Cords

A cord is like an energetic umbilical cord; the etheric cord Carrie’s etheric energy, negative thoughts, etheric parasites, emotions and dark force elements from someone who has entity attachments or a full on infestation.

Cord cutting has been around for ages, and is very important in cutting the “ties” between two parties or more.

Sexual energy is one of the most powerful forces. Casual sex and having multiple partners form cords that will hang around for a long time. This is why polyamorous relationships are often dangerous energetically, a lot of them mean well, but fall short to understand the energetic side of their multiple relationships.

People can cord ideas, things and places. However, cords are mostly found between close relatives, your current partner, ex partners, close friends and anyone we have had a sexual relationship with whether that was consensual or abusive. The energetic cord is there, unless it has been removed.

A psychic vampire will cord with someone purposely just to attain energy. Going back to their supply any time they need a refill because they are feeling low energetically.

Cutting cords between people can release a person from emotional and behavioral patterns that do not serve them. Giving the person more freedom and the ability to be in their own energy.

Imagine a cord between a closely related couple or even between a close family member. One of whom has deep emotional issues, and the other does not. If you are always connected through cords the one who does not have deep emotional issues will always be affected by the one who does.

This causes an imbalance between the two parties and this is when the cord must be cut.

Allowing them to be in their own energy and not sensing the emotions and thoughts from the partners energetic cord will empower the person to have more personal clarity and freedom. Better able to handle the day to day tasks how they would naturally, instead of being influenced by outside energy.

If you are a high vibrational person or an empathy you need to cut cords daily. This also means any temporary cords from clients and whose energy and pain may have been picked up during sessions.

Positive cords

There are positive cords between people; examples are mother and baby, with partners in a close healthy relationship (two way positive energy), astral cord between physical body and astral body, cords to the center of the earth for grounding.

Please keep in mind cords are never necessary for a healthy relationship, it is always a choice to cord or not.

Negative cords

Negative cords are ones that drain you of your energy and that have been placed there to drain your energy and control you. These are always through the back but can be placed anywhere on the energetic body.

Understanding cords

Cords can be detected physically or by energetically scanning the body. They may appear fat and healthy (full of energy transfer) or dead and old (low to no energy transfer).

Energy running through the cords may be one way or both ways. Depending if one party is exchanging energy or both are. This is the way to know for sure if it is a healthy cording or an unhealthy one. If it goes both ways it’s healthy. If it’s one way it’s not healthy.

Cords only remain or return if a person allows it. So figuring out why it is there in the first place may be very healing. You may need to let go of something held deeply in your subconscious.

You may need spiritual healing, assistance with cord cutting and spiritual guidance. Once the cord is cut and that tie is severed, for some people this may feel traumatic and lonely, harboring a deep feeling of loss as you navigate your new life without this energetic cord connected.
